Colorado Gives Day doesn’t seem like enough anymore. In one 24-hour period, Coloradans raised approximately $15 million for 1,258 nonprofits statewide. Can we add a few more “gives” next year to accurately capture the effect this day has come to have on Coloradans?
Included in the mammoth total were 68,000 total donations. And 20 of those donations led directly to non-Metro Denver nonprofits receiving a boost from “Diamond Anniversary Dollars” provided by El Pomar Foundation and the Boettcher Foundation in honor of our 75th anniversaries. Recipient organizations were randomly selected from organizations receiving donations in the 7 o’clock hours and 5 o’clock hours during Colorado Gives Day.
Check out the morning winners here.
And send congratulations to these evening recipients:
Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud
Lake Dillon Foundation for the Performing Arts

We are so grateful to El Pomar and Boettcher for supporting our organization, High Country News, as well as the good work of so many other Colorado charities & nonprofits. Thank you for your generosity.
Happy Anniversary!
